SEPTEMBER 2023: Alchemy of Time

Our human journey is a study in spiritual alchemy. Alchemy is the art and science of transformation, which follows a very specific and predictable set of protocols. Initially it was couched in secret, scientific encoded writings. However, many mystics have since revealed the code, and applied it to the most powerful alchemical laboratory of all: the human being. As we evolve it is apparent that we are turning our base, instinctually driven nature into a fully free willed creator God,  the pauper into the King or Queen, the lead of our mortal existence into the "gold" of our immortality, our body into the Light of our Soul.

We are always changing, yet we haven't always understood, nor recognized our changes and have even feared change.  In the past, time had been slowed and attuned by the current state of human consciousness, sometimes not allowing us to see the cause of effects enough to truly link up the truth of cause and effect. This was so for many reasons, not the least of which was to give us the gift of time so that we could discern our existence with free will, and learn, discover, and grow more into the fullness of our human potential, and our powers to manifest.

Time is key here as we delve into the alchemical marriage of our body/mind/soul and spirit. For it is time that draws us upward on the vertical axis of the path and subjects us to the process of spiritual alchemy. Yet, as we become more fifth dimensional, stepping outside of linear time and space, it becomes imperative to engage with time in a new way. We must have a way to routinely take stock of ourselves as we become increasingly non-linear and more holistic. The medicine wheel with it's ouroborous effect is the complete package that allows us to not only take stock, but setup milemarkers to chart and direct our own progression. 

Most of our growth has come through a painful rending of old belief systems, which also tend to show up as a letting go of relationships, careers and other physical manifestations, as well as, dreams, ideas, fantasies and karmic contracts. Without knowledge of spiritual alchemy, these things might appear to make no sense, and serve to further dig us into the roles of victim and perpetrator. But once this most predictable process is realized and we see that we are literally experiencing a kind of spiritual procedure through our own crisis, we have a chance of lifting ourselves into another mode and way of being. While understanding this process from a more cosmic and spiritual evolutionary perspective might not make it immediately less painful, it can relieve any undue suffering from our misunderstanding, internalizing or confusion. Much like a midwife's job is to bring comfort to the birthing mother, by truly understanding spiritual alchemy we can comfort and prepare ourselves for what is to come.

It is through the process of alchemy that our soul emerges and integrates the body and the spirit in the flesh. It is how we become like God. Yet, as we let go of our notions of who and what God is... and turn more toward our own inward journey and allowing that transformation to outwardly manifest, we come to truly know the complexities of the creator, through the gift of our Higher Self... our Holy Guardian Angel. As we entertain greater levels of freedom, we find that we are the captain of our destiny. This can seem like an overwhelming responsibility unless we are aware of the alchemical process by having a system which helps us to keep the lines of communication open between all our aspects. Containers such as meditation, medicine wheel  and Kabbalah helps us to do just that. Ultimately we do not need blind faith to proceed, for we can develop the spiritual eyes to see and the ears to hear the whisperings of our soul.

We are evolving. Humanity has enough time into this process now, and the ability to communicate and compare notes, which is a part of that process itself. For as we observe ourselves and become more and more consciously aware of the depth of our own existence, we then can realize our own tempering into compassionate and loving beings of light, with great powers of healing and creativity which will allow us to fully step into our free will and choose the kind of world we will make real. We can choose heaven or hell. The power is within our hands.

Conversely enough, there is a divine plan however, that was agreed upon by our GodSelf to elevate humanity back to a state of re-unification in God Consciousness. The truth is that we cannot fail. Because just because we do not remember our GodSelf and our master purpose, doesn't mean that our soul doesn't remember. And this process of alchemy will birth our soul, one way or another. And when the soul comes stalking, the things we need to experience to awaken will happen.

It is our work here to awaken the GodSelf within through love and awareness, and proactive midwiving of the soul's emergence. This is why our power to communicate is so important. Messengers are being sent to tell us that it does not have to be difficult. Great sacrifices have been made to ensure that each wave of souls successively has an easier birth. So we must take this great gift, awaken now and receive the grace of our existence in this moment. Let love live through us, allow our souls to emerge and heaven on earth to end the war between fear and love. This is the alchemy of life.

AUGUST 2023: Inner Light

If you see the Light, in its most practical nature, as the Truth, then you understand that enlightenment is the means by which we reveal the truth to ourselves and to the world. Yet, enlightenment is about far more than simply being honest. True enlightenment strips away all the illusions about life itself, including people, places and things, parts of our own personality and belief systems and anything else at all that is keeping us from the truth of love. It inspires us to open to our soul and it allows us to see the light in everyone and everything.

Many people try to shine a spotlight onto themselves from without, competing for attention and living in a perpetual state of lack, forgetting all about power versus force and the power of their true light.  When you absolutely know who you are, what you have to offer to the world and the importance of anchoring your God self onto this planet, then you know it's not really that much about you shining at all. It's about you becoming in alignment with your radiant God Self, so that the unique aspects of this creation that you are resonant with, can find you and we can all be re-united with the Light.

We are here now in a dance of shadow and light. This is a dance that we must come to enjoy. For even though we all know that the life giving light of the sun is what keeps our body and mind alive and well. It is under the cover of the night, and in the void of our own soul, where all possibility exists and the deep lake of our inner being, reflects the light of God and refracts it out into the world in a way that allows us to reveal, share and receive God's Love. This is the means by which the omnipotent forces of creation can experience itself in the material world, where we can play and have fun, creating our dreams and manifesting love without "blinding" each other with our Light. This is how we all come to shine our Light from within and live as one. 

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. JULY 2023: Pursuit of Happiness

In our country the Fourth of July marks a very special milestone in human history: a collective acknowledgment in a new world for liberation from tyranny, injustice, slavery and anything that bars our pathway to life, lliberty and the pursuit of happiness. 

Does anyone ever notice that our founding fathers put the pursuit of happiness right up there with life and limb? But how many of us truly honor and guard our pursuit to happiness as much as we do our very lives? Don't we tend to suffer as long as we can tolerate the suffering? Which for many of us is very long. Don't we say someday I'll be happy when... Don't we underestimate our need for deep soul satisfaction as being something that would be nice, but not necessary for our survival? 

I daresay our ancestors had gave us alot more than a free country when they signed those documents. They gave us the true formula to properly prioritize the care and feeding of the human spirit. Isn't it fascinating that this powerful message comes forth in what is considered a political, secular document? In one of the greatest revelations of the power of the people the Declaration of Independence is possibly one of the most sacred documents in existence for our time, if you consider that God can speak through humankind. 

We must be committed to our freedom. Freedom isn't free and we must be willing to pay the price, to fight if need be not only for our right to do as we please, but to be who we really are. We must fight our own inner demons and that of our ancestral karma to be free of old patterns and programming, while enjoying the gifts we've been given to create ourselves by the power of the divine will that resides within each of us. This is our path to freedom, right through the center of our heart. Most of all we simply want to be free to love, to be love, to flow love and to receive love. This is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to each other.

On the medicine wheel, in the sacred direction of the West, we gain the courage, strength and confidence to enter the unknown element of soul. Though the West is the place of darkness, we find that it is here that we are often called out, not just to face off on what we think is wicked about us, but more poignantly the great, potent powerful seed of eternal light that lives hidden deep within our heart and soul. 

This place within us is the part of us where the field of pure potential resides. It holds, guards and keeps glimpses of the brilliance of our true nature until we are ready to wield such power. As we sit in this aspect of ourselves on the wheel, it is like a visionquest for every cell of our body. It is a brave call for something beyond our meager imagining to come forth, so that we can continue to change and grow as a human being, and to be in a new, old way. 

"Buddha has actually called it the lion's roar. When a man reaches an absolutely silent state he roars like a lion. For the first time he knows what freedom is because now there is no fear of anybody's opinion. What people say does not matter. Whether they call you a saint or a sinner is immaterial; your whole and sole judge is God. And by 'God' a person is not meant at all, God simply means the whole universe." - Osho 

Courage, strength and confidence are the stepping stones to our future selves. It is important to understand this process of growth and to realize the heirarchy of our spiritual evolution. For courage builds strength, and strength builds confidence. Often we forget that confidence must be built, even earned. Just as we might lift weights to build muscular strength, so too, must we exercise our options to build confidence. In other words, the more we courageously venture into the unknown, the stronger we become, the better prepared we are to take risks, the more confident we become. 

Notice that confidence and comfort are not the same things. In many ways our confidence level is directly related to our perception of our ability to handle the unknown. So if miracles of manifestation lie outside of what is known to us, then how could we consider making this a routine part of our lives, and not just some leap of faith that we take every now and again as we muster the courage, or more likely life and our soul stalk us to move into the void? 

"It is not a question of having to face a person; you have to face the trees, the rivers, the mountains, the stars -- the whole universe. And this is our universe, we are part of it. There is no need to be afraid of it, there is no need to hide anything from it. In fact, even if you try you cannot hide. The whole knows it already, the whole knows more about you than you know." - Osho 

One of the best ways that I know of to teach ourselves about what we are really made of, to help us continously access the depths of our being, and to access great assistance in the realm of pure possibility is the medicine wheel. When you journey on the wheel, you first build faith in the presence of unseen forces of light through the courageous act of humility. One could say that the very first leap of faith of the fool to venture into the unknown is where courage begins on the wheel. As one becomes a seasoned traveler however, the awareness of the magician within, and a whole cast of characters, magical beings and divine helpers come to the fore, and we are strengthened for the journey by our deep awareness that we are not alone, in many senses of the word.

Much like the story of the Wizard of Oz, the hero's journey reveals the deep magic that lies within, and this begins to outpicture in our lives. People, places, situations and scenarios will play out to call into awareness what is within. Then something amazing happens, we start to be able to navigate in the dark, through the signs and symbology of the events of our life. And we are no longer the victim of circumstance, karma or fate. As soon as we get our shaman's eyes, and develop the ability to track our lives, to see the experiences of our lives through higher dimensions, it is as if an invisible light comes on and we can access greater information. It is in that moment that we truly realize that we are creating all of it. 

"Never think in terms of being free from; always think in terms of being free for. And the difference is vast, tremendously vast. Don't think in terms of from -- think for. Be free for God, be free for truth, but don't think that you want to be free from the crowd, free from the church, free from this and that. You may be able to go far away one day, but you will never be free, never. It is going to be some sort of suppression." - Osho 

Courage, strength and confidence come from within. But the process and experience of life is designed to give us what we need to pull what is within "out" into the world. The reason for this is that above all we are destined to create. Being fruitful and multiplying is not just about procreation of other human beings... it is an all encompassing command to be abundant, to improve your lot, to advance and grow... and ultimately to evolve right through the door of the unknown, the great mystery of our own soul... to become fully human. 

If we can imagine something into existence one time, it can be done a hundred thousand times. The truth is, that we have already imagined a great many things into existence. The imaginal realm is very real. In meditation and journeywork sometimes people ask, how do I know that I am not imagining it? The answer is that you are! Yet there is a great question that must be asked. Why, out of all the things your could have imagined did you choose that? And "who" was it that chose that? Exploring these questions almost always bears fruit. These are most often treasures pulled up from the deep, clues about your unique individuality and purpose. 

"The crowd is not the problem -- you are the problem. The crowd is not pulling you -- you are being pulled, not by somebody else but by your own unconscious conditioning. Always remember not to throw the responsibility somewhere on somebody else, because then you will never be free of it. Deep down it is your responsibility. Why should one be so much against the crowd? Poor crowd! Why should you be so much against it? Why do you carry such a wound?" - Osho 

Sometimes we discover that the soul is tossing us clues through our dreams, imaginings and visions about what is hidden inside of us. It is even possible to tap into the visions and dreams of each other. It is also possible for each of us to have a similar dream, a memory, or a calling that is so strong, that even if we don't realize it, we magnetize ourselves to each other through this common dream. It is then that we truly begin to understand the reality of the realities within the unconscious, and the great hidden powers that are available to us, upon this discovery. 

This realization is the ultimate courage bringer. For in this we begin to see our purpose and remember who we really are. And we begin to recognize each other, and much like in the Wizard of Oz, there is a homecoming, and a newfound ability to reunify with lost aspect of ourself, and a discovery of strength we didn't know we had. This in turn gives us the confidence to continue to build our dreams, to seek out a vision, to allow our soul group both within and without to come forth and move together as one. This oneness, this reunification is our heart of hearts. It is here, in this space that we can live inside the gap, the tao of our heart, regularly and routinely living in the fifth dimensional holy, whole sacred space of a life lived loving like God/dess loves.

The way out is through.

Outside of my comfort zone lie miracles and magic.

I work with the medicine wheel to help me navigate through the void.

The medicine wheel provides the mysterious platform on which to access the deep magic of life.

As I build my life on the platform of the medicine wheel, I lay the groundwork for my ascension.

As my consciousness ascends, I have a top down view and a higher perspective.

The medicine wheel helps me to maintain a view of all perspectives.

The medicine wheel helps me to assemble my dream team both within and without, as I honor all aspects of myself.

Courage, strength and confidence allow me to take even greater risks to open to even greater love.

I have the courage to love like God/dess loves.

My inner sun is shining.

MAY 2023: True Community • Allegiance & Alliance

True community demands that each of the individuals become their most authentic self. This might require them to be a bit divergent for a time. It will most certainly ask them to heal, forgive and evolve. But when the time comes, a threshold will present itself that asks the individual if they will use their power for the greater good of us all, or only for the self. 

This is an inner attitude, for the actions may look the same. Therefore True Community can only be achieved through the rigorous self-initiations of inner honesty and integrity through group work, which provides the context and the content for a higher order of spiritual partnership and relationship. 

Allegience, to be healthy must be earned. It is from this place that a higher order of living is born. it is from this place that masters work together in mastery of love.

As our lives become more creative and artistic, we are simultaneously getting more and more in touch with our soul, our true essence. The soul is actually the driving force that requires us to get grounded in life and to dream up new expressions of our being and to produce something visceral and heartfelt. While getting in touch with our spirit elevates our soul, purifies our desires, opens our hearts and gives us the higher vision to create amazing grace in our lives and or to see what we already do with new eyes. The spirit and the soul could be likened to canvas and paint, respectively. 

If we were to surround ourselves in simple beauty, calm environments, treks into nature, and immersed ourselves in the mystery of our own soul and opened to being surprised we would find that we start to become something unrecognizable. No longer requiring mountains of overstimulation, violence and aggressiveness, we would finally be able to apprehend the exquisite beauty that resides in every moment of life... and in the silences of our own soul.

As those of us who have brought our lives forward from the inside out do so, we find that we are every increasingly sensitive to our environment, to each other and to society. And while this can be somewhat painful as we feel as though we are moving in slow motion as compared to the fast pace of society, it is also our calling to help the world "slow down" and re-enter the garden so that we can enjoy our lives... truly to fill our lives with JOY! This is the remembrance of the artist soul within each of us. 

To the artist soul, every thing, every moment, every place and everyone has an inherent beauty even when ugliness is present. What we find as the artist emerges is that ugliness is not the enemy, so much as the need for speed. This quicksilver attitude, addictive, linear patterning, which has caused us to be magnificent learners and retainers of knowledge, if not allowed to take its rightful place, can stop the artist soul from ever truly emerging. And this will create a void that we will incessantly try to fill.

This powerful being within has no such need for tight control and rigid rules.This powerful being knows when to color inside the lines and when to color outside the lines. This One has come to the altar of the soul of the world and has claimed the ability to choose... not from a place of conditioned programming... but from the ceaseless and limitless abundant supply of the Universal Creative Force within and the realization that there is way more to this artist than meets the eye.
